SEAI: Advocating for India's Seafood Export Sector

The Seafood Exporters Association of India is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation and is the voice of India’s seafood export sector. From influencing policy to encouraging debate, engaging with policy makers and other stakeholders, SEAI articulates the views and concerns of industry. It serves the interest of its members across the country by providing a platform for networking and consensus building within and across sectors and is the first point of contact for the Indian seafood industry, policy makers and the international sectorial community.

The Association has representations on a number of policy making bodies of the Government of India and various State Governments and National Associations. SEAI has contributed immensely to the development of the industry in the country over the years. SEAI offers various services to its members in the areas of skill development, training, publications, supervisory education programme etc. Over the past six decades, SEAI has evolved as times have changed and catered to the growing needs of today’s marine products exports community.
